"The trip was fabulous! Tough to say which we liked best. Tarangeri seems like a hidden gem and couldn't have been happier with all aspects of those days. Loved how empty it was, the sheer number of animals and in close proximity to all. We experienced two crossings at Serengeti along with lots of other sightings. We did enjoy our hike of the Empakaai crater and the tour of the Maasai village. Meals were delicious at all locations and felt bad that I could not eat all that was offered. "We had such an amazing trip. Everywhere we stayed was incredible and our travel and logistics were seamless! We loved the size of the Mara reserve where we didn't have to drive too far to see much. My favorite day of the entire trip was the all day safari where we saw lions mating 4x (and were the only cars there to witness it), and spotted a rhino mom and baby (crossing off the big five on our list). The day then ended with a surprise candlelight BBQ in what felt like an enchanted forest. In the Serengeti, we were lucky to witness a river crossing with a crocodile attack (just for sport, they gave up and didn't put up a big fight), two leopards out and about (after seeing a few tails dangling in the trees), and two large prides of lions playing about. Zanzibar was a fantastic place to unplug, and we were glad we didn't have to lose a day of safari to travel to the Seychelles. The weather was great and it was nice to have zero agenda. Another highlight was swimming with wild dolphins. On our way to snorkel, we saw some dolphins and jumped in to take a look and they swam right by us! AND on our last day, we even saw some turtles hatching! We had SUCH an amazing trip with incredible service and wonderful memories. I'm already planning our 10 year anniversary to go see the gorillas. Thank you for helping create the honeymoon that beats all honeymoons!

"Hi Caitlin! First off, it was likewise a great pleasure working with you. For a first timer the whole process can seem fairly daunting but I had every confidence going into it with your expertise behind us, and indeed we had an excellent time. Overall, WOW, what an unforgettable experience! Dad completely lost his mind at the animals and vistas, and mom became best buddies with all the guides. The rain actually turned out in our favor I'd say, as it wasn't too much to close off experiences but just enough to bring out the vegetation and thus wildlife. A total extra in my opinion! Tortilis was the perfect kick off, and our guide Juma was just superb. I guess some wildlife photographers only come if they can get him to drive and spot? I can see why, total gem of a man. We got multiple bonus lion packs, ostrich eggs, and all sorts of unique oddities. Lewa Wilderness was definitely the right follow up, and by far our favorite accommodations. We got scary close to the black rhinos and leopards. Shout out to Karimushu "Mush" for being the host with the most. I definitely feel we experienced maximum terrain and wildlife diversity, which was the design goal, so 100%! Personally I was very happy to have seen all three locations. The hindsight sentiment of the rest of the crew was more of a "take me back to Lewa" or like a 4 days Tortilis 4 days Lewa kind of vibe 😂.
